Virus Warning

As many of you probably already know, there has been a virus running wild lately. There is strong suspicion that this message board has become infected. All this means is that the virus (actually a "worm") seems to be disguising itself using a board member's email address and sending itself to other board members.

The only solution I could think of to this was stonewalled by proboards. That was to record and delete ALL of your email addresses until this is cleared up, but unfortunately the server requires a valid email address on file.

So, all I can say is... trust NOTHING. This worm spreads by auto-forwarding itself. If you get an email from someone, saying it is in response to (RE: ) an email you sent, DO NOT open any attachments it may contain. Also, I have received the worm from the following members AT LEAST once, so if your name is on this list it may not hurt to run a virus scan just in case.

I haven't received any emails from you all, but I have received them alot over yahoo. They're coming over alot, and I just delete them and label them as spam. I've done a virus scan and my pc is clean too. Holla back...Mr. Belvedere ;D

I'm not surprised seeing Jays, Pittmans, and my names on this list, but Daren??? dude have you been downloading as much porn as us? you know that's where viruses run rampant! In real life and on the computer.....sex breeds viruses
