On Saturday August 23rd, Carolina Gold presents their 2nd Annual Fan Appreciation Night in Creedmoor, NC. We want to welcome all of our sponsors, family, alumni, and friends to share in the celebration of the 2003 season. Joining Gold this year will be the first public 2003 exhibition of our host school, the South Granville Marching Vikings under the direction of Kevin Byrd.
Last season our first "Family Night" drew more than 200 fans to Creedmoor for our final local performance of the season. This year we're adding full concessions and more activities to make the trip even more worthwhile. Planned this year:
Full uniformed field performance of the 2003 Carolina Gold: "L.A. Confidential"
Debut Performance of the TBA SGHS field show.
Gold's I&E Participants at DCA
Recognition of sponsors and key contributors.
A special performance of the minicorps Platinum
A joint musical selection by Gold and the Marching Vikings.
A final standstill encore of the 2003 Carolina Gold, up close and personal.
This will be the final performance of Gold in the area before we head off to Scranton PA for Nationals. Admission is free and we welcome you to be a part of this fun way to close the summer!
