Ladies and Gentlemen....I have just returned from Orlando. The 2003 Drum Corps International World Championships were super...and Yes, I had yet ANOTHER CORPSGASM!
What is a corpsgasm you might ask? well that is the moment when you are listening to a piece of music (played by a drumcorps of course) and it's just so moving that you jump OUT of your $#@@$#^ seat and make faces like

In that order most likely! Goosebumps and hardons are very common.
Corpsgasms can only happen if you hear them live, they cannot be attained by watching it on TV....only mildly felt by hearing them on a car stereo (as chase can attest) but only fully appreciated in person.
I have only had 3 corpsgasms in my life. The first being at the 1997 DCI Worlds in Orlando watching the Madison Scouts play "The Pirates of Lake Mendota", the 2nd coming 2 years later in Madison Wisconsin watching the Scouts perform "Jesus Christ Superstar".
Saturday night in Orlando the Phantom Regiment not only brought tears to my sister's eyes, but they brought a stiffy to my Hanes. The most gorgeous, yet loud hornline ever. It was certainly a great show and when I buy the DVD, I am forcing everyone to watch it.
