I need a group to sing the National Anthem on Friday April 6, Saturday April 7, and Friday April 27 at the Myrtle Beach Pelicans baseball games. I tried to put the idea out there last year, but ended up sending a middle school chorus. If you guys think a group of you would like to do it, even just once, get back to me ASAP. Repost here or contact me at webmaster@marchingraiders.com. You would get into the game free, of course, plus an excuse to go to the beach is always welcomed.  If you guys decide to do it, just make sure it's organized, rehearsed, and will sound good. You'll be representing the fraternity, the school, and the Pelicans. I'll need to know something concrete by the 28th of February, so get together and talk about it and let me know. Thanks, KK |

PS. If some of you decide to do this, only those singing will get in free, but anyone just wanting to go on the trip and join in the fun can also come. It's only $7 to get in anyway.
PSS. When I said I need to know by the 28th, this is what I'll need to know.
1. How many are singing
2. Their names
3. And which day(s) you want to attend
Once I turn the paperwork in, it's pretty concrete. If you guys give me 6 names, and 2 more join up later, I may not be able to get those 2 in free. (I'm sure I can, but I'm not 100% sure, so I just want to put that out there before it hit the BGC's)

This would be an excellent way for Eta Beta to make a name for itself off campus. I definitely think something should be put together.

18 days and nothing. Oh well, I had to make other arrangements...again, but there will be other opportunities.

I found a group of middle schoolers in Scotland County that are going to go. They've agreed to sing the anthem and help clean up after the game. In return, they are getting fed at the park on both Friday and Saturday evenings, lunch at Landry's seafood on Saturday afternoon, and admission to 3 of the 4 Ripley's attractions. Not to mention they get to attend both baseball games free.
The corporate office is giving them all of these for about 1 minute worth of singing before the game and about 45 mintues worth of work after it. I'll be bringing this back up in about a month or so, PLEASE ACT ON IT!!!!
